| Comments | On Sunday, Oct. 14th, we saw 131 monarchs in 55 minutes while we were eating lunch on an outside patio. We also found two 5th instar caterpillars in a nearby field. The adults were all flying south. They were on the back side of a cold front that brought storms to our area Friday - Saturday. Sunday was the first warm, sunny day after the front.
