| Event | Monarch PEAK Migration |
| Date of Sighting | 09/25/01 |
| Comments | Large number (1000's) of monarchs arrived in town this evening.
There is also a cold front moving through. Have been seeing 20 or so monarchs in the yard feeding, etc. for the past two
weeks. As of 29 September, monarchs are still in the 1,000's here in Winters, TX (60 miles south of Abilene). I've only noticed a few nectaring. Large clusters in trees all over town and in the surrounding farming communities. Contributed to Monarch Watch. |
