| Event | Monarch PEAK Migration |
| Date of Sighting | 09/22/01 |
| Comments | There were lots of monarchs sighted in our area in the afternoon on Saturday. When a family was traveling from Hallsville to Mark Twain Lake, they saw about 10 monarchs every mile. One student brought in 3 monarchs that he had caught in his house when the door was left open for a long time. We are releasing those monarchs today so they can continue their migration. |
