Peter Berkow is an educator and working journalist. Currently the school newspaper advisor for Shasta College in Redding, California, he also teaches courses in news writing, mass communications, editing, computers and English composition. He has worked for several newspapers, currently writes a weekly column for a syndicated news services and has been published as a freelance writer in many national magazines.
